Are you a passionate and skilled Maths teacher dedicated to supporting learners with additional needs? Our welcoming and well‑supported SEND school in Newcastle is looking for a committed Maths SEND Teacher (QTS) to join the team after half term.
About the Role
You will deliver high‑quality Maths teaching to pupils with a range of special educational needs, adapting lessons to meet individual requirements and helping students grow in confidence and independence. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a specialist environment.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons tailored to SEND pupils
Differentiate teaching to support a range of learning needs
Track progress and contribute to EHCP reviews and assessments
Work closely with support staff and wider teaching teams
Create a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
Experience working within SEND is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of secondary Maths curriculum
Ability to adapt teaching approaches to different learning styles
