A quick look at the role
Reporting into the Test Manager, the Automation Test Lead is responsible for overseeing the automated testing of changes to business-critical systems. As the timely delivery of quality technology solutions is contingent upon thorough testing, the Automation Test Lead will play a key part in improving the quality, and reducing the overhead of testing, thus contributing to the success of the organization. Leading a team of automation testers, they will work closely with developers and business stakeholders to develop and maintain a test automation framework to ensure the systems built, and integrated with, meet the business's requirements, are delivered within project parameters.

Your core responsibilities
1. Take responsibility for ensuring that test automation is utilised to ensure that software products are robustly tested and fit for purpose based on appropriate criteria (including reference to design or technical specification documents).
2. Accountable for strategizing the automated testing of internally developed software - as well as system enhancements, extensions, and integrations - using the Power Platform, Azure DevOps, and other tools.
3. Accountable for the development and maintenance of automated test suites.
