Perkins&Will are currently recruiting a Associate Change Manager and Design Strategist to join our creative Planning & Strategies team. Our London office is established as one of the most successful design firms in the UK and Europe, delivering a wide range of professional design services including corporate interiors, strategic workplace consultancy services, new build architecture, large scare urban design and planning development and hospitality. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: On a project level: Serves as lead consultant with the ability to liaise with all levels of staff and contribute to the overall success of the team by adhering to firm and project goals and standards of excellence in design, execution, and living design. Strong understanding of the Behavioral aspects of Workplace and Organizational Psychology, ideally with Change Management qualification or strong previous experience. Developing project-specific change management plan. Delivering the plan either individually or with a team for support, inclusive of creating and writing multi-platform, multi-audience content. Thorough understanding of Workplace Strategy with next steps integration phases for interior design (pre-design through construction). Distils complex information to the essential detail for client decision-making for their workplace setting and future needs. Clear communicator with a talent for facilitating workshops, interviews and business engagement; generating outputs that are insightful and go beyond the buzzwords. Manages project teams, fosters collaboration, and demonstrates strong and effective communication and direction which inspires high team performance, design ideas, and successful project delivery. On a studio level: Leads efforts in developing and validating project scope and fee, budget, and scope of services during the marketing and contract development process. Participates and where appropriate leads in marketing opportunities inclusive of rfp responses, pitching and securing new work. Generates project opportunities, developing sales, strategies, and materials for client presentations and reports. Participates in Business Development efforts within the office to promote the Planning & Strategies team in the industry. Participateses in internal leadership initiatives for the office as lead by the Associates and Senior Associates group. Leads collaborative teams in internal design reviews, charettes, and pin-ups and external community engagements. Mentors staff. On a company level: Conducts research on current trends, studies, and topics related to workplace issues and change management and proactively keeps team informed internally with an external presence in white paper or blog. Participates in professional organizations within the local area. Works firmwide, collaborating across studios on standalone and integrated projects.
