Job Summary
We are seeking a Manual Factory Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with mills and lathes. This position is well-suited for an individual with knowledge of milling experience, or has had some experience of metal working with industrial machinery.
Ideal Candidate:
* Extensive experience with milling machines
* Full-time (Permanent) or Part Time considered
* Friendly and relaxed work environment
Requirements
* Proficiency in operating mills
* Strong background in manual machining preferred
* Must have the ability to read engineering machining drawings
* Attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Must live and have Right to Work in UK
Responsibilities
* Operate manual machining equipment, including mills and lathes, to produce components according to specifications.
* Assemble parts and components using various techniques, ensuring accuracy and quality in all assembly processes.
* Conduct regular maintenance on machinery and tools to ensure optimal performance.
* Apply basic maths skills to measure dimensions accurately and calculate tolerances.
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
