Major Job Functions
1. Carry out machine movements on and off transporter vehicles using the most appropriate tools/equipment, that could include slinging, forklift truck, cranage, etc.
2. Support the engineering team with daily service and repair duties
3. Record all movement details of all machines and attachments on/off site and ensure that a release document is obtained/completed before the equipment leaves site.
4. Preliminary assessment of machine condition reporting any damage or missing items through the appropriate channels.
5. Refuel all machines as required.

Accountability
14. Ensure all stock machines are clearly marked with all relevant information as to create greater visibility for all users.
15. Make sure that daily check sheet for all yard equipment is up to date. Ensure shipping note accuracy.
16. Ensure machines are stored in an efficient and tidy manner.
17. Responsibility to ensure all lifting equipment is in a safe and operational state.
18. Ensure machine attachments are stored in suitable place.
19. Ensure all machine movements on site are carried out in a safe and appropriate manner. Accountability for machine storage and condition.
20. Work with co-ordinators, transport companies in order to forward plan and streamline machine movements.
Education and Experience
21. 5 tonne and 15 tonne and above Counterbalance Forklift truck licence is an advantage
22. NPORS licence or equivalent (desirable)
23. Appointed persons certificate in the management of lifting operations (desirable)
