There is a common theme when talking to engineers at this exciting start-up – they all have complete faith in and admiration for the board and management team. They are on a mission to be the fastest growing tech company in UK history and are making phenomenal progress with development to date. They will pay from £60,000 to £140,000 relocation and equity for the right RF engineer. That said, they are looking for the best. The work will involve selecting components, performing analyses of RF chains, designing distributed and hybrid filters, performing 2.5D and 3D EM simulations, drawing schematics, direct (and occasionally engage in) layout activities, performing initial bring-up testing, and defining production testing of RF and microwave electronic systems (including PCBs). RF engineer essential requirements: 3 years’ experience with RF design (ideally above 10GHz). PCB design experience Understanding of LO design including phase noise. RF engineer desirable requirements: Filter design and 2.5D / 3D EM simulation. RF chain analysis (and ideally frequency planning). Power supply design for RF circuits. Proven ability to take designs through to production. Experience at start-ups working at a fast pace. Antenna design experience. MMIC design experience. They should be able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and evolving start-up environment. This is a rare chance to make an immediate impact, stay hands-on with development, and help shape a company that’s scaling fast. Position RF Engineer Location: Cambridge Salary: £60-140k Key Skills: 3 years RF Design Desirable skills: MMIC, antenna design, Filter Design, Chian analysis Apply: jamie AT enterpriserecruitment DOT com I’m not an engineer myself, but have a BSc in Computer Science so have a technical understanding.
