Residential Support Worker

Full-time, 40 hours per week (including day, night, and occasional sleep-in shifts)
About the Home:
The Home is a purpose-built, single-level residential home supporting up to 5 children with complex medical needs and learning disabilities, from childhood until their 18th birthday. they provide specialist care in a nurturing and structured environment.
The Role:
We are looking committed, reliable, and mature individuals to join our team. You will provide 1:1 support to children with complex needs, including tube feeding, tracheostomy care, and other medical requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with the children under supervision for the first 12 weeks until signed off by the nurse.
Shadow a nurse or the manager during initial induction.
Support children with complex medical needs and learning disabilities.
Follow care plans and maintain clear communication with the team.
Be a proactive, flexible, and supportive team member.
Rota Example:
Week 1: 4 nights, 4 days off
Week 2: 4 nights, 3 days off
2 full weekends off per month
Night shifts: 8:30pm
8:00am
Day shifts: 7:30am
9:00pm or late shifts 2:00pm
9:00pm
Requirements:
Right to work in the UK
Strong communication skills and understanding of care terminology.
Committed and mature, able to work as a team player
