About the FCA and Team
The Data, Technology and Innovation (DTI) division enables the FCA to be a digital‑first, data‑led smart regulator by delivering a secure, agile and cost‑effective technology and data ecosystem that drives better decisions, transparency and operational efficiency. Within DTI, the Digital Systems team delivers the systems that enable the FCA to be a more effective and smarter regulator.
Role Responsibilities
* Deliver and support cloud services that meet company standards, ensuring quality and reliability.
* Monitor cloud platforms for compliance with security and design rules, managing incidents and changes effectively.
* Oversee environment management by maintaining inventories, scheduling usage and aligning test systems with live environments.
* Collaborate with project and support teams to resolve issues, address risks and improve infrastructure usability.
* Test and validate environments to ensure they meet standards, while continuously enhancing platform performance and cost‑efficiency.
* Develop and maintain environment management processes, promote security compliance and support adoption across teams.
Minimum Skills required
* Experience working within large organisations to build and operate cloud‑based systems and big data applications.
* Experience applying DevOps practices in Salesforce environments, including use of DevOps tools, agile methodologies such as Kanban and Scrum and alignment with IT operation frameworks like ITIL.
* Experience managing technical tasks and collaborating with suppliers.
Essential
* Certified Salesforce Administrator or Developer with a supportive approach to managing environments for operational and project teams.
* Bringing a collaborative mindset and thriving in fast‑paced, team‑oriented settings.
* Confident working across infrastructure platforms and automation tools, including Git and Jenkins.
* Comfortable using JIRA and Datadog, with a thoughtful understanding of Agile and DevOps practices in large organisations.
* Applying strong problem‑solving skills with care, working closely with developers and product owners to resolve challenges constructively.
