Accounts Payables Analyst
Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Accounts Payables Analyst to join our team. In this role you will manage the company’s accounts payables processes, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely payments, and comprehensive reporting. You will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve queries, monitor cash flow, and drive process improvements within the AP function.

Head of Transactional Finance
Roles and responsibilities
* Prepare and analyse Monthly AP trade creditor balances
* Generate and verify balance sheet reconciliations for all AP supplier accounts
* Assist Head of Transactional Finance to define KPIs for the Purchase to Pay process
* Responsible for monthly reporting of departmental KPIs
* Report & analyse late payment of invoices and resolve underlying issues
* Create reporting and monitor invoices on holds
* Process invoices in a timely manner
* Analyse and monitor employee expenses
* Reconcile and monitor employee company credit card expenses
* Reconcile and be responsible for Petty Cash expenditure
* Exposure to ad‑hoc bookkeeping as desired
* Provide cover for members of the Transactions Team
* Support key change initiatives and drive continuous improvement
* Provide other ad‑hoc reporting to line managers and stakeholders
* Act in accordance with the behaviours for UTAC staff at all times
Person Specification
Experience
* Experience of working in an Accounts Payable function
* Experience with accounting software packages
* Creation of AP reports and dashboards
* Balance sheet reconciliations (desirable)
Skills
* Proficiency in both verbal and written communication
* Organisational skills
* Proficient use of Excel
* Strong analytical skills
* Ability to function effectively in a multi‑tasking environment

Qualifications
* AAT qualification or equivalent experience is preferred but not essential.
