Job Advert Tutor (Orrell, Wigan) Prospero Teaching is looking for Tutors in Orrell (Wigan) to deliver Maths and English tuition across EYFSKS4. Working with Wigan Council, youll provide 1:1 tuition for pupils outside of mainstream school, often vulnerable learners who benefit from tailored support. Details: Location Orrell, Wigan Hours ~10 weekly per pupil Pay GBP27GBP30/hr Subjects Maths & English Flexible, part-time role Requirements: QTS essential Enhanced DBS SEN experience desirable Further Information: The successful tutor will need to be patient, empathetic and be able to create/deliver learning plans on a 1:1 basis. A therapeutic approach may also be needed to re-engage students with their learning. The aim is to provide the pupil with structure in their daily routine and to continue their educational development, ultimately helping them return to an educational setting. Prospero will work with you closely to monitor the progression with each pupil by asking you to submit weekly reports. *Tuition takes place generally in school daytime hours but occasional opportunities after school 3-4pm and evening occur.
