Our client, a reputable independent German vehicle specialist based in South Gloucestershire, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their professional team. Duties as a Vehicle Technician:
* Conduct fault diagnosis and problem-solving
* Perform vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs
* Maintain high-quality workmanship to exacting standards
* Complete job cards and documentation accurately
* Utilise diagnostic systems including ISTA+, VCDS, Autel, WOW!, ODIS, ICOM, Xentry, and Maverick Diagnostics
* Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
* Work collaboratively with the Workshop Manager and team to meet workshop targets
Requirements for the Vehicle Technician Role:
* Proven hands-on experience in vehicle repair and diagnostics
* Strong diagnostic skills, experience with industry-standard tools and systems (ISTA+, VCDS, Autel, etc.)
* Formal qualifications (IMI/NVQ in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair) are desirable but not essential
* Time-served technicians with demonstrable ability will be considered
* Experience working with German vehicles is advantageous but not essential
* Organised, methodical, and committed to high standards
* Confident team player with a strong work ethic
* Ability to adapt in a busy independent workshop environment
