Contracts Manager (Retrofit)
Location: London Bridge – willing to travel to sites when required
Salary: £55,000
Join Hyde as a Contracts Manager responsible for retrofits.
What You’ll be doing
* Coordinating and managing Hyde’s retrofit projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
* Collaborating with various stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams, to deliver projects on time and within scope.
* Leading a team of contractors, consultants, and staff to deliver a variety of retrofit services which allows Hyde to effectively improve its asset energy performance.
* Fostering strong relationships with external partners, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, quality standards, and health and safety regulations.
* Monitoring contractor performance, resolving any issues and providing guidance to ensure successful project delivery.
* Tendering works for retrofit projects in line with Hyde’s Procurement framework.
About You
* Minimum 3 years of contract management/planned project management experience.
* Previous experience in managing projects, ideally within the housing or property sector.
* Strong technical knowledge of energy efficiency measures as well as relevant sustainability regulations, standards, certifications and building codes related to sustainability and retrofitting.
* Financial acumen and experience in budgeting and cost control.
* Full UK driving licence and own vehicle (mileage and car allowance paid for by Hyde).
