Support students in preparing for their GCSE and A Level Mathematics examinations, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to succeed.
Guide students in conducting independent research and completing challenging coursework, fostering their critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Contribute to the department's curriculum development and resource creation, ensuring that our Mathematics curriculum remains relevant, engaging, and rigorous.
Work collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the school to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice and keep abreast of the latest developments in Mathematics education.
Person Specification / Qualifications
* Are you a passionate and inspiring Teacher of Mathematics with a desire to nurture the next generation of mathematicians, scientists, and engineers? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our high-achieving Mathematics department in a grammar school in Hillingdon., Holds QTS or equivalent.
* Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Mathematics.
* Demonstrates a passion for teaching Mathematics and a commitment to student success.
* Has strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
* Is confident in building rapport with students and fostering a positive and stimulating learning environment.
* Has a good understanding of the GCSE and A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics specifications and assessment requirements.
* Is committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
