Specialist Respiratory / Sleep physiologist

We are recruiting two band 5 Respiratory/Sleep physiologist to support the respiratory team in the community diagnostic centre, atFairfield and Oldham hospitals.
Cardiorespiratory Investigations is a forward looking department made up of a multidisciplinary team. We are committed to delivering the best possible care to our patients.
As a Specialist Practitioner in respiratory, the successful candidate will be competent in performing
Advanced Respiratory investigations, support sleep investigations and support initiation of treatment and patient follow up
The department provides a broad range of respiratory / sleep physiological measurements
The post may involve working across the sites within the Northern Care Alliance
Main duties of the job
Perform a range of Clinical Respiratory and Sleep investigations to patients of all ages from a range of specialties, which are cardio-thoracic in nature. Cross site working potential
Undertake interpretation of results and provision of factual reports.
Work collaboratively on a day-to-day basis with others to contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the service.
Provide a comprehensive Clinical Respiratory/Sleep investigative service to patients of all ages from a large range of specialties suffering from a wide variety of medical disorders including those which are essentially cardio- thoracic in nature

Qualifications
* BSc in relevant science
* ARTP
Skills
* Worked in Respiratory and sleep physiology
* Independently perform advanced lung function
* Experience of sleep diagnostics
* Experience of patient care/ customer care
