The Role
As part of our next phase of expansion, we're looking for a hands-on Operations Assistant to strengthen our operations and ensure customers continue to receive an outstanding experience. This role is first and foremost a warehouse operations role focused on accurate and efficient pick, pack and dispatch. You will also support customer service by handling tickets and calls, making sure enquiries are answered quickly, politely and with expert knowledge.
What you will do
Pick, pack and dispatch
* Pick customer orders with high accuracy using pick lists and tickets
* Pack orders securely to brand standards and reduce damage in transit
* Book and print shipping labels across multiple carriers
* Dispatch on time to daily cut offs and maintain same day fulfilment targets
Stock and warehouse
* Receive goods in, check deliveries and update stock records
* Replenish pick faces and maintain location accuracy
* Prepare B2B and wholesale orders including pallet builds and paperwork
Customer service support
* Work tickets and emails for both brands during quieter warehouse periods
* Answer calls, return voicemails and follow up on missed calls
* Manage returns, exchanges and refunds with clear notes and tidy admin
* Monitor and respond to product reviews in line with templates and tone of voice
Essential requirements
* Proven pick, pack and dispatch experience with strong accuracy rates
* Confident with desktop computers, email, new software/apps and warehouse/courier systems
* Excellent attention to detail. Accuracy and tidy admin are critical in this role
* Clear written and spoken communication for customer facing work
* Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and switch between tasks
* Proactive problem solver who works well with minimal supervision
* Comfortable with manual handling within safe limits and using basic equipment such as pallet trucks
Nice to have
* 2 plus years experience in ecommerce operations across Amazon, Shopify and eBay
* Knowledge of shipping platforms such as Royal Mail, DPD, Parcelforce or similar
* Familiarity with barcoding, location management and cycle counting methods
