As they continue to shape the future of offshore wind, they are looking to appoint a Quality Systems and Improvement Specialist to strengthen their team in Aberdeen. This is a full-time permanent staff position with a 37.5-hour week and the opportunity to work from home one day a week. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of high-profile renewable projects by driving predictable performance and business excellence.
The Role:
This is not your standard Quality Advisor role. As the Quality Systems and Improvement Specialist, you will play a central role within the Quality function, ensuring business management system assurance and leading initiatives to improve ways of working across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the development and delivery of annual compliance and improvement plans.
* Leading internal quality improvement campaigns and fostering collaboration with other departments.
* Analysing performance data to identify trends and drive improvements.
* Acting as a key advocate for lessons learned and knowledge sharing.
* Leading management reviews and communicating results across the business.
* Managing ISO certification processes and audit programmes.
* Supporting the development, governance, and revision of the Business Management System (BMS).
* Providing training on performance tools and quality systems.
* Contributing to incident investigations and root cause analysis.
* Assisting with tender submissions and quality deliverables.
About You:
We’re seeking someone with strong technical expertise and a proactive mindset—someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys driving positive change.
You’ll Have:
* A degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience.
* Extensive knowledge of ISO Quality and HSE standards.
* Proven background in management systems and business improvement.
* Lead Auditor qualifications and experience.
* Experience in heavy industry sectors such as Renewables or Oil and Gas.
* Strong communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
* Experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
* Confidence engaging with senior management and key stakeholders.
