Role Overview As a Maintenance Engineer, you will ensure the site’s production machinery operates safely, efficiently, and with maximum uptime. Working within a fast-paced food environment, you'll carry out planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and contribute to continuous improvement across the facility. Key Responsibilities * Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on production and packaging machinery * Deliver both planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs * Diagnose faults and provide effective, lasting engineering solutions * Support equipment installations, upgrades, and improvement projects * Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime and enhance performance * Maintain accurate maintenance records in line with site and audit requirements * Ensure all work complies with health & safety and food safety standards Your Profile * NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent engineering qualification * Mechanical or electrical maintenance experience * Background in food manufacturing or FMCG highly beneficial * Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills in a production environment * Self-motivated, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting What You Can Expect * Competitive salary and benefits package * A supportive, sustainability-driven international company * Clear opportunities for professional growth and development * Autonomy to influence and shape business initiatives
