QA Assistant – Household Products | Birkenhead, Wirral | Full Time | Working hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday | £27,000 per annum
Our client is a privately-owned company specialising in the production and supply of household laundry and cleaning products. They supply a number of national and international customers with their own brand of laundry and cleaning products.
They have laboratory, blending, and packing facilities at their Birkenhead premises to produce household, laundry, and cleaning products. They develop, scale up, and produce all formulations in-house.
Their team develops formulations to match briefs from customers, which are then blended and packaged at their manufacturing facilities in Birkenhead.
They are currently seeking a full-time QA Assistant to join their expanding team to ensure compliance with the QA system.
Are you the right person for the job?
Degree qualified
Experience in HACCP and BRC consumer goods standards
Skilled at ensuring QA systems are followed in the workplace
Familiar with QA systems for household and laundry cleaning products
Computer literate
What will your role look like?
Monitor all operations that affect quality
Supervise and guide inspectors, technicians, and other staff
Assure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final output
Report all malfunctions to production managers to ensure immediate action
Ensure all legal standards are met
Conduct Internal audits
Perform AISE, RSPO, SMETA data collection
Monitor Building Fabrication
Maintain document control systems
Ensure company quality standards are followed
Site HACCP, Procedures, Policies and Specifications are followed as required by Site Policy
Complaint investigation
Ensure site quality and health and safety standards are followed
Conduct CoA checks and approve raw materials
Maintaining: Site Packing specifications, QC contracts, Gold seal samples
