A leading Tier 1 contractor is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to support delivery of a major new highways scheme in the West Midlands. This is a significant long‑term programme of roadworks and structures, offering an excellent opportunity to work within a high‑performing project team on a flagship infrastructure development.
Your new role
As Site Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting the Site Agent and Project Manager to ensure the successful, safe and efficient delivery of all on‑site activities.
* Completing weekly plant returns
* Producing a photographic record of materials received
* Maintaining site sheets and weekly cost spreadsheets
* Managing and verifying site delivery tickets
* Promoting best practice and ensuring compliance with all company procedures
* Driving a defect‑free and snag‑free approach to work delivery
* Identifying and highlighting value engineering opportunities
* Ensuring full environmental compliance across all works
* Leading on Near Miss reporting
* Ensuring all monthly HSE returns are completed
* Supporting a strong safety culture across site operations
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience as a Site Supervisor within highways or civil engineering
* Strong understanding of site safety, quality and compliance processes
* Ability to maintain accurate records and manage key site documentation
* A proactive mindset with a commitment to best practice and continuous improvement
