The Vacancy
At Evri, we’re on a mission to make parcel delivery better for everyone - our customers, couriers and communities. We’re growing fast and evolving how we work, and we’re now looking for a Courier Pay Negotiation Manager to take the lead in shaping how we manage pay across our self‑employed courier network on a 6 Month Fixed‑Term Contract.
This is a key strategic role that blends commercial insight, negotiation expertise and leadership. You’ll be responsible for managing the centralised rate negotiation process, ensuring fairness, consistency and compliance while driving cost efficiency across the business.
Interested? Take a look at the below to understand what you'll be doing:
* Lead the national strategy for courier pay negotiation, ensuring robust cost control.
* Conduct regular market research to ensure our rates remain competitive and compliant.
* Develop and implement year-round negotiation frameworks that support sustainable business goals.
* Manage and inspire a team of negotiation and recruitment specialists, driving efficiency and excellence across all negotiation discussions.
* Partner closely with senior leadership and local delivery teams to identify opportunities, risks, and long‑term solutions.
* Ensure legal compliance with self‑employed courier rights and maintain transparent communication throughout every negotiation process.
* Provide insight and reporting to support decision‑making at executive level, turning data into actionable results.
Still interested? Great news! Here’s what you’ll bring:
* Proven experience in pay or salary negotiation, compensation strategy, or similar commercial roles.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop your team.
* Analytical mindset - confident working with data, trends and market insights.
* Sound knowledge of employment law and regulatory frameworks around self‑employed models.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint).
You’ll join a business that’s dynamic, inclusive, and forward‑thinking, where ideas are valued and innovation is encouraged.
You’ll have the opportunity to make a measurable impact, ensuring that we strike the right balance between cost efficiency, compliance, and courier satisfaction.
If you’re commercially savvy, people‑focused, and ready to take ownership of a high‑impact area within one of the UK’s largest logistics companies — we’d love to hear from you.
