This Graduate Cover Supervisor role is ideal for graduates looking to gain valuable classroom experience before progressing into teacher training or a long-term career in education.
The successful Graduate Cover Supervisor will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons and managing classroom behaviour in the absence of the class teacher. As a Graduate Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment across the school day.
Key Responsibilities of the Graduate Cover Supervisor:
* Supervising classes and delivering pre-set work.
* Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
* Ensuring pupils remain on task and engaged in learning.
* Providing feedback to teaching staff following lessons.
* Supporting pupils with questions related to the work set.
* Promoting a safe and positive learning environment.
The Ideal Graduate Cover Supervisor Will:
* Hold a degree in any subject area.
* Be interested in pursuing a career in education.
* Have strong communication and classroom management skills.
* Be confident, adaptable and professional.
* Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).
* Have a fully checkable work history.
