Our Teaching and Learning Manager is the role for you. Chichester College is looking for a Teaching and Learning Manager for our GCSE English and Maths department which includes ESOL. Overseeing both Adult Learners returning to education and our 16-19 provision resitting their GCSEs, we are looking for a forward thinking dynamic manager who can oversee the quality of the teaching and learning of our staff. Candidates should have a proven knowledge of the GCSE system, have a background in managing staff and be dedicated to constantly refining standards to ensure all learners receive the highest quality of teaching and learning. As a Teaching and Learning Manager, you will also have a positive impact on staff within your curriculum team. You will support staff to enhance and improve the quality of teaching, learning and assessment by coaching and providing advice, whilst encouraging and supporting risk taking and innovation. Although primarily a management position, the Teaching and Learning Manager role requires you to teach 3 hours per week, which will enable you to lead by example and ensure you are able to continue your teaching directly with students. Our Teaching and Learning Manager will hold a full teaching qualification and ideally have experience of delivery in one of the curriculum areas that Chichester College has to offer. You will bring a wealth of teaching experience from the Further Education sector and be able to demonstrate up-to-date teaching methodologies.
