The Data Administrator is to play a key role in supporting the Compliance Team to ensure data management, protection & governance processes meet with regulatory requirements and Company policies. The post holder will review and organise physical and electronic data, both archived and acquired through Mergers & Acquisitions, to ensure the proper classification, retention and destruction of data in compliance with Records Management Guidance, in order to minimise volume of data held and to store any data retained in an appropriate & organised way. Scan and digitise paper records/documents Data entry - spreadsheets/Proclaim Label and categorise physical data Identify physical documents for destruction in line with Company policy. Perform digital cleanse to remove redundant or outdated data in line with Company policies Manual handling of physical files and boxes in our onsite archival storage. Support the Compliance Team to meet GDPR and data protection obligations Work with the wider business to minimise electronic data storage Review firmwide policies concerning data storage Complete audits to ensure policies being followed in the wider business, work to reduce any failures to follow policies and report to the Compliance Teams leadership group. Essential Skills And Experience Attention to detail Confidentiality Good standard of numeracy and literacy skills Ability to navigate Excel spreadsheets and input data into them.
