We’re on the lookout for an inspiring Security Manager to lead our dedicated security team and create an exceptional, safe experience for every guest who visits our park. In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee day-to-day security operations, ensuring our environment is welcoming, secure, and running smoothly.
As a leader, you’ll recruit, train, and develop your team, empowering them to deliver outstanding service and support across the park. This role is based in Sandford, Wareham.
What You Will Be Doing...

Planning Resource Levels: Ensure the park has the required level of security.

Effective Patrolling: Utilize team members to patrol the park, providing a deterrent and preventing situations where necessary.
*
Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to security assignment instructions.
*
Incident Management: Handle incidents and situations, ensuring correct escalation and reporting.
*
Technology Oversight: Manage security technology and CCTV.
*
Investigations: Conduct full and unbiased investigations, providing detailed statements and reports.
*
Data Review: Use on-park systems to analyze security data.
*
Risk Management: Identify and manage security vulnerabilities and risks to the park.
*
Liaison: Work with local enforcement authorities for routine inspections and investigations.
*
Promoting Awareness: Attend Management and Regional Meetings to enhance security awareness among colleagues.
*
Cultivating Culture: Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, trust, and continuous improvement.
*
Team Engagement: Conduct regular 1:1s and team briefings to ensure your team is engaged and working effectively.
About You...
*
Team Management Experience: Proven experience in managing a team.
*
SIA License: Current SIA license (Minimum Door Supervision) & full clean UK driving license (Manual Car).
*
Customer Service Skills: Excellent skills and confidence in communication and influence.
*
Positive Security Culture: Ability to drive a positive security culture within a team.
*
Commercial Awareness: Capable of managing a budget and rota.
*
High-Pressure Management: Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
