My client who is a leading Gas Utilities provider for the main gas networks is seeking an experienced Head of Customer Service. My client deals with installation & replacement, repair & maintenance, specialist drilling and full reinstatement works. Their customer base is predominantly private residents whereby the work completed is either local to or on their premises through work orders from the main gas supplier This role will involve both operational and strategic functions. In terms of operational responsibilities, you will oversea the team of customer service managers and liaison officers. This interaction is both proactive ahead of the work in liaison officers canvassing areas where work is imminently about to commence and also with the call centre team dealing with inbound queries. From a strategic point of view, it will be working directly with the Managing Director alongside the other directors to shape the strategy and vision in terms of increasing the customer experience and advancing the capabilities and efficiencies of the customer service function.
