Accounts Assistant – WS People Providers
WS People Providers are currently looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team, based in our Kettering Head Office.

Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a broad understanding of accounts, as the role will cover all aspects of finance within the business.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (1 Hour Break)
Pay Rate: £28,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
Location: Kettering.
Job Type: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
Processing purchase and sales invoices
Accounts payable and receivable
Bank reconciliations
Assisting with payroll processing
Posting journals and supporting month-end procedures
Maintaining accurate financial records
Assisting with VAT returns
Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties
Liaising with suppliers and internal departments
Requirements
Minimum AAT Level 2 (or equivalent accounting qualification)
Currently studying towards further accounting qualifications, or willing to do so
Previous experience in an accounts or finance role preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Experience using Sage 50 is advantageous
