As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be a vital part of our multi-disciplinary team, delivering engaging and nurturing early years programmes for children aged 0 to 4 and their families.Your role will include:Supporting the Developmental Programme for 2 to 3 Year Olds running three two and a half hour sessions weekly September to JuneDelivering fun creative Outreach Play Sessions in local community settingsBuilding trusted relationships with families including conducting home visitsPromoting positive play early learning and social developmentWorking collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care.
Responsibilities
* To help organise and deliver age-appropriate activities which will enhance all aspects of children’s development.
* To help promote the involvement of parents in their children’s development.
* To be aware of safeguarding/child protection issues and to make the line manager aware of any issues, in line with service policy.

Skills and Qualifications
* QCF Level 2 in Playwork or equivalent or willing to work towards
* Relevant experience working or volunteering with children aged 0 to 4 years
* A full driving licence and access to a car are essential, due to the wide geographical area covered across Mid Ulster (Applicants with a disability that prevents them from driving may demonstrate an alternative means of meeting mobility requirements)
* Experience in communicating effectively with parents/carers regarding their children's needs
