Salary: £57,737 + per annum dependent upon experience

Job Summary
As a Communications Manager, you will shape and deliver the communications strategy for the Industrial Power Systems Division (IPSD). You will support the global Medium Engines business through expert guidance, strategic planning, and governance, lead Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) communications, and oversee facility communications for the Peterborough site.
Responsibilities
* Develop and execute the communications strategy for the Medium Engines business in IPSD.
* Ensure communications plans align with the company’s strategic vision, IPSD priorities, and brand guidelines.
* Advise senior management on communications and craft plans for local and global initiatives.
* Produce deliverables such as speeches, video scripts, presentations, newsletters, website content, and internal employee meetings.
* Collaborate with marketing, Corporate Public Affairs, and other communicators across IPSD and external partners.
* Design innovative processes to maximize resources and technology for quality outcomes.
* Develop a CSR strategy for the Peterborough site.
* Support the local HR Manager with standard HR processes and activities.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in tactical and strategic communications planning.
* Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
* Knowledge of organizational communications tools and media.
* Effective communication behaviors and ability to transmit and interpret ideas accurately.
* Proactive initiative and drive to achieve goals.

* Required 100% on‑site presence.
* Travel: 10–15% globally.
