Residential Development Role Overview
This position is a key part of the business's Development team and is a career-focused position with an employer that values its people as its main priority.
The Job Description:
* Manage, assess and report on the feasibility of new business opportunities as presented by the development land team.
* Work with internal Technical/Commercial/Land Managers/Executives and Development Land lead to meet targets for business growth.
* Lead negotiations on larger complex schemes with clients.
* Prepare clear and concise board reports for the Executive to present at Board meetings.
Responsibilities include advising on LA policy, s106 requirements, RP development programme and funding. You will work closely with Planning, Development, Land and Technical to create scheme optimisation and support the team with LA planning and housing department s106 agreements.
You will develop and maintain relationships with LPA, LA Housing officers, RPs and Homes England. Additionally, you will advise on Build Agreements/ Contract selection within the terms of business as set by Group.
A successful candidate will be an experienced Development professional with previous experience working on residential development for a house builder or Housing Association.
