Job Purpose:
As part of our Sales and Service Team based at Fairthorne Manor, you will ensure customer needs are understood and suitable programmes booked to meet customer requirements and ensure financial targets achieved. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing partnerships and develop new relationships with a wider customer base to increase our reach and meet the needs of the school and group communities that we serve.
You will work collaboratively with relevant departments to seek, identify, and build sustainable new surplus generating income streams. You will forge and maintain excellent relationships with our operational delivery teams to understand the capability of the services we are offering and ensure customer needs are met.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
* Implement the relevant actions of the business development strategy as outlined by the Directors.
* Build, develop and maintain relationships with key customers to ensure excellent service and high retention of customers.
* Ensure the provision of follow up and after-care support to ensure customer satisfaction, understanding of needs and loyalty.
* Gather and utilise intelligence from internal and external sources to identify new opportunities for programmes and services that meet the needs of current and future customers.
* Maintain and grow current and new income streams to meet customer needs and maximise income for the site in line with our 5-year growth plans and targets.
* Stay informed about customer needs, market trends and competitor offerings.
* Analyse data and provide accurate reporting of progress against income targets, KPIs and other relevant metrics.
* Provide a sales presence and perspective at relevant meetings and events.
* Work closely with our Head of Operations and marketing team to prioritise focus and streamline processes to ensure the prompt conversion of sales enquiries.
* Line management of Reception and the Sales Co-Ordinator role.
* Develop relationships with other internal departments to ensure the smooth delivery of customer visits and work to ensure the role of the Sales and Service Team is understood and actively supported.
* Interpret and manage sales data via our CRM system to provide insights and opportunities for Business Development.
* Oversee customer communication as part of the sales process.
Person Specification & Key Competencies
Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum 2+ years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role, with a demonstrable ability to provide clear thinking and rational decision making.
* Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Excellent organisational and management skills including attention to detail.
* Financial acumen and experience
* Experience of CRM software including analysis and interpretation of data
* An ability to absorb and retain a wide variety of product information.
* An ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and accurately to deadlines.
* Ability to lead and work as part of a team with great people skills.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
* Full driving license required.
