This is more than just a selling role; you will work with the board and then deliver, implement and drive the company's New Market Entry strategy. This is a senior and very important position; success will give you promotion to Director for a global leader within a massive multi-billion group. The key to being successful in getting this position is a proven track record and profound understanding of the Aerospace markets in Europe, or similar experience in Gas Turbines, Medical, Space, and Oil and Gas sectors, which are critical with demanding standards and high regulation.
The Candidate:
* Outstanding proven track record in selling, penetrating, and winning business in critical markets across Europe
* Proven experience in Aerospace Tier 1 and OEM markets is preferred
* Knowledge of metals and metal components in these markets is advantageous
* Experience or desire to move into strategic new market entry business development; this will be challenging but suited for a resilient character
* Exceptional new business and key account management skills, capable of building long-term relationships over a long sales cycle
* Strategic thinking, sector mapping, self-generation, and long-term sales planning
* Sales management or senior business development experience is desirable
* Accurate forecasting and budgeting skills
* Pipeline management and closing skills
* Strong strategic, commercial acumen, and emotional intelligence
* Excellent communication skills, able to engage with various levels within organizations
* Ability to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities and network effectively within corporate environments
