About the Role You will be supporting a student with: Scoliosis Heart disease Duchenne muscular dystrophy The student uses an electric wheelchair and requires support throughout the school day, including personal care and mobility assistance. Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 classroom support, ensuring the student can access learning. Assist with personal care needs in a respectful and dignified manner. Support with manual handling and mobility, including hoist use (training required). Encourage independence and engagement in lessons. Work closely with teaching staff and the SEN team.
