Finance Assistant - 3 Month Temporary Contract Based: Stirling Full-Time (Could be flexible) Are you an organised and detail-oriented finance professional looking for your next challenge? We’re currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join a growing business in Stirling. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a varied role within a supportive team where your contribution will make a real impact. The Role As Finance Assistant, you’ll play a key part in supporting the smooth running of the accounts and payroll functions. Your responsibilities will include: Monitoring the accounts inbox and processing incoming bills Uploading and managing financial data in Xero and ServiceM8 Cross-checking bills with purchase orders and escalating discrepancies Chasing missing documentation where required Performing bank reconciliations Allocating costs to projects and monitoring project budgets Assisting with job and project setup and status tracking Making payments to staff and suppliers via online banking Preparing and maintaining payroll and absence records using Xero Generating and presenting financial reports for internal meetings About You We’re looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, but can also take initiative and manage their workload effectively. You’ll bring: Strong communication skills (written and verbal) A proactive approach and a keen eye for detail Ability to interact confidently across all levels of the business Solid IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Windows file management A flexible and team-oriented mindset Experience with Xero and ServiceM8 is advantageous, but full training will be provided.
