Milton Keynes is looking for an experienced Deputy Team Manager to join them in their The Reablement and Hospital Discharge Team.
It will be 4 days in the office and 1 day from home.
In this role you will be expected and not limited to:
You will support the team manager in overseeing a busy, fast-paced team where every day is different.
Implement creative solutions to help individuals maintain their independence.
Collaborate with health professionals and continuing health care services.
Lead the development of a supportive team environment.
Provide reflective supervision and support to social workers and social work assistants.
Manage and prioritize allocations based on risk, need, and urgency.
Support workers in producing strengths-based assessments that accurately reflect the individual and their situation.
Collaborate with health colleagues and other professionals to ensure timely discharge of individuals.
Oversee the flow through all discharge services.
Manage and support a team, addressing HR issues as necessary.
Support colleagues within a multidisciplinary service.
Solve problems and manage complex cases and risk.
