Job Description
Our client a forward thinking firm of Chartered Accountants is seeking an experienced Manager to join its Barnsley office. This is a key role with genuine progression opportunities, overseeing a varied client portfolio and contributing to the strategic development of the firm.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a mixed portfolio of clients, delivering high quality accounts, tax and advisory services
* Leading and mentoring a team of accountants
* Supporting business development and identifying opportunities for growth
* Maintaining strong client relationships, including meeting prospective clients
* Ensuring compliance and consistently high service standards
Skills & Experience
* ACA/ACCA qualified with a strong practice background (ideally 3+ years PQE)
* Proven experience managing client portfolios and developing staff
* Strong IT capability, including Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, Office 365 and ideally IRIS/MyWorkpapers
* Confident communicator with a proactive, organised and professional approach
* Ambitious, self motivated and committed to progressing into a leadership role
