Full-time, 35 hours per week. Fixed term contract until 31 March 2027. Grade FN, Salary £31,870 per annum. Location: Edinburgh (hybrid – minimum 2 days per week in the office). Closing date: Monday 04 May 2026. Interview date: Friday 15 May 2026.

Projects Officer
We are looking for a Projects Officer to develop and support two externally funded programmes within the Projects and Initiatives Team. The postholder will support the development and implementation of a newly funded programme to increase awareness and knowledge around gambling harms, and will support the delivery of an existing programme aimed at supporting new (First5) GPs.
Responsibilities
* Ensure that project outcomes are achieved to a high standard and milestones are met within budget by using relevant project documentation and processes.
* Use a variety of marketing methods to effectively promote the projects and respond to all enquiries professionally and in a timely manner.
* Organise and support a number of in‑person and online events and service relevant project meetings.
* Design and implement effective evaluations for each programme and present the findings in a clear and professional manner.
* Manage the project budgets, including the processing and recording of invoices and tracking expenditure against budgets.
* Provide professional and timely project progress reports to the project funders, demonstrating activity and impact at each stage.
Qualifications
* HND or equivalent qualification/work experience.
* Proven project administration experience and the ability to manage competing demands to ensure deliverables are achieved within set timelines and budget.
* Strong organisational and event planning skills, including experience in planning events and organising meetings.
* Comprehensive understanding of marketing and communication principles.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrable experience in writing clear and professional reports.
* Good knowledge of budget management and experience undertaking evaluations and presenting findings accurately and impactfully.
* Ability to work autonomously and deliver events of varying sizes successfully.
