As a Retail Manager, you will take full ownership of the day-to-day management of the store, ensuring an outstanding customer experience, driving sales, and leading your team to meet performance targets. You will be responsible for delivering operational excellence and maintaining high visual and merchandising standards. This is a hands-on role that also requires kitchen/chef experience to support daily food preparation and maintain high food quality standards. What you’ll be doing… Take a hands-on leadership role in recruiting, training, and developing team members, working alongside them daily to deliver efficient, high-quality service Work side-by-side with the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, supporting food preparation, service, and ensuring strong communication during busy periods Actively contribute to food preparation, cooking, and plating, maintaining consistency and quality during high-volume service Lead from the front in delivering excellent customer service, interacting with customers, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive dining experience Operate tills and support transactions during peak times, ensuring speed, accuracy, and great customer interaction Drive and embed the Elior Experience by being present on the floor and supporting the team in real time Take ownership of stock control, ordering, and inventory management, ensuring availability while working within budget Contribute to menu planning and development, bringing practical, creative ideas while maintaining cost and quality standards Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant kitchen environment, actively upholding Food Safety and COSHH standards Monitor day-to-day performance on the ground, identifying opportunities to reduce waste, control costs, and improve efficiency Take an active role in ensuring Health & Safety compliance, leading by example and addressing issues immediately Working pattern: Primarily Monday to Friday.
