Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Recovery Worker to join the Westminster Move On and Resettlement Service, supporting clients across a range of semi-independent properties.
The role involves managing a caseload of clients and supporting them towards recovery and successful move-on. You will provide person-centred support, empower clients to make positive changes, and link them with relevant external agencies. You will also work closely with health and substance use professionals who provide in-reach support.

Roles and Responsibilities:
* Manage a caseload of clients, delivering regular keywork sessions and person-centred support.
* Assess referrals and complete inductions for new clients.
* Conduct specialist assessments and develop safety plans and action plans in partnership with clients.
* Identify clients' goals and support them to build the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to move on successfully.
* Work collaboratively with statutory and non-statutory agencies, including health and substance use professionals providing in-reach support.
* Accompany clients to appointments where appropriate.
* Provide advice and guidance on housing, welfare benefits, health, and resettlement pathways.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on internal databases.
* Work in line with Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE) principles and promote client involvement.
* Support colleagues in managing challenging or high-risk situations and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed.
* Contribute to housing management tasks, including void management, rent maximisation, property inspections, and responding to maintenance issues.
* Attend handovers, team meetings, and multi-agency meetings as required.
* Work flexibly across projects within Westminster and participate in the service rota.
Requirements:
* Experience supporting vulnerable individuals, particularly those experiencing homelessness and complex needs.
* Experience managing a caseload and delivering person-centred, outcome-focused support.
* Knowledge of housing legislation, welfare benefits, and resettlement processes.
* Experience working collaboratively with multi-agency professionals.
* Strong risk assessment and safeguarding knowledge.
* Ability to manage challenging situations calmly and professionally.
* Good written and verbal communication skills, with strong record-keeping ability.
* Understanding of trauma-informed and psychologically informed approaches.
