We are seeking a motivated individual to carry out duties within Theatres as a Trainee Perioperative Assistant. The successful candidate should demonstrate good organisational skills, kindness, and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Maintaining confidentiality at all times is essential. Experience working within theatre is required.
Hours will be scheduled to meet service needs, including shift work, weekends, and rotational nights, with flexibility to work across all sites in Fife. Candidates should possess an SVQ Level 3 in perioperative care or health care support (clinical-perioperative units).
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary. A genuine interest in working within the Theatre environment is essential.

Please note this is a Trainee post, and Annex 21 applies. This position involves training lasting more than one year but less than two years. Pay during training is as follows:
* More than one but less than two years prior to completion of training: 70% of the pay band maximum of the qualified rate.
A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
