We are seeking a proficient Project Engineer to join our Engineering Department. The role involves comprehensive project engagement, from pre-sales assistance to troubleshooting during service. The Project Engineer will report to the Head of Engineering. This position would best suit individuals with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar discipline, possessing exceptional communication and organisational skills. Candidates must thrive in unsupervised, high-pressure environments and demonstrate adeptness in time management and reporting.
You'll have experience working within the Oil and Gas industry, ideally having worked with Machinery Manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Understanding design principles across various systems including Compressed Air & Gas, Fabricated Steel/Aluminium Frameworks, Belt Drives, Control & Instrumentation, and Cooling/Heating Systems.
2. Providing accurate data for the development of production schedules and preliminary project documents.
3. Producing diverse project documentation including quality plans, equipment schedules, test procedures, and technical construction files.
4. Liaising with suppliers, overseeing design engineers, and offering technical support to sales, service, and spare parts departments.
5. Ensuring compliance with QHSE standards and contributing to continual business improvement.
In return you'll get a salary of up to £55k, enrolment in the Company pension scheme (employee contribution 5%, employer 3%). There is a holiday entitlement of 24 days holiday per annum. Your working hours will be 38 per week, typically 08:30 until 17:00 Monday thru Thursday and 08:30 until 14:30 on Fridays.
