Description About the Role BUSY Ability is seeking a dedicated Claims Officer to join our WorkForce Australia employment program. This pivotal role will coordinate and track all claims processes and oversee Post Placement Support (PPS) for participants who have exited the program. You will ensure claims are lodged timely and compliantly, working closely with Employment Consultants, Work Support Consultants, jobseekers, and employers to collate evidence and submit outcome claims for assessment. Your work will directly contribute to improved customer engagement, operational performance, and financial outcomes. Key Responsibilities Track and manage all claims processes, ensuring compliance with DEED and program guidelines. Process wage subsidies and advise staff on complex outcome guidelines. Conduct quality Post Placement Support for participants and employers to ensure sustainable employment. Collaborate daily with Employment Consultants, Work Support Consultants, and Business Managers to track claims to outcome. Compile and manage monthly forecasting and target tools. Maintain accurate records in WorkForce Australia Online and Job Ready systems. Provide feedback and support to managers on training needs and process improvements. Contribute to group activities, employment projects, and other duties as required. This position is fixed term until 4th January 2027, located in our Southport office. Skills And Experiences A bit about you At least 2 years’ experience in employment programs with experience interpreting guidelines and ensuring compliance with funding guidelines Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Highly developed team engagement skills capabilities. Highly developed IT hardware and software skills in particular, experience with Microsoft Office suite of products, Job Ready and WFA Online A driver’s licence and willingness to travel when required Ability to obtain a Blue Card and National Police Check with no outcomes Next steps This role will actively commence recruitment from the date of advertisement.
