Business Partner Lead – People & Culture
Consortium Professional Recruitment is partnering exclusively with this well-established, reputable business that is a leader in its field. This is a standalone position reporting directly to the MD and working as part of the senior management team. It is an integral role within the business, responsible for delivering strategic and operational HR. You will adopt a solutions-focused approach, demonstrate strong relationship-building skills, and manage day-to-day HR operations.
The successful candidate will be process-driven, experienced in a generalist HR role, and skilled in managing recruitment and training. Previous experience in an SME environment, particularly in an independent senior HR role, would be ideal.

The Role:
* Providing professional advice and guidance on all HR policies and practices
* Updating and maintaining the employee handbook
* Leading and managing all Employee Relations across the business
* Providing coaching and advice to managers on HR issues
* Partnering with managers to support recruitment and selection to attract top talent
* Liaising with recruitment partners to support hiring needs
* Managing the company's Corporate Social Responsibility program
* Leading and supporting the annual performance review process
* Driving Staff IntraNet and internal communications
* Leading HR projects related to wellbeing and mental health
* Leading initiatives, celebrating successes, and employee recognition
* Planning annual team-building events
* Identifying training needs and skills gaps across the business
* Managing onboarding and induction processes
* Handling exit interviews and providing feedback to Directors
* Participating in the design and implementation of strategic projects
The Candidate:
* Proven experience in a senior HR role
* Experience working within an SME, ideally in a standalone capacity
* A full generalist background including recruitment and training
* A positive, professional, and confident approach
* Ability to work autonomously with a varied workload
* Comfortably able to deliver as part of the SMT
* Engagement and motivation to make a difference
* CIPD Level 5 qualification
