Job Description
3. Be the day-to-day contact for your allocated portfolio
4. Plan delivery of work on your own portfolio; plan bookings and prepare high-quality files for manager review
5. Liaise with client to resolve queries before submitting accounts to manager for review
6. Where applicable, manage the work of more junior team members on your portfolio, including briefings and monitoring of performance to ensure completion of the job
7. Proactively analyse client data to highlight any issues, opportunities both compliance and business related
8. Monitor and review client financial data, present ideas and make recommendations
9. Work as part of a team to ensure clients are provided with excellent service
10. Be proactive in seeking support from peers and managers when faced with more complex issues
11. Ensure compliance with our streams policies and procedures
12. Understands WIP, scope, fees and project negotiations
13. Complete the client-take-on procedures for new clients, to include preparing engagement letters for manager and partner review
14. Attend client meetings with the Partner/Manager to develop your client relationships and provide advice as part of the client team
The Successful Applicant
15. Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA) or equivalent experience
16. Solid accountancy experience required
17. Strong communication skills
18. Desire to advise clients and add value
19. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel.
20. Excellent knowledge of accounting packages including Xero, QBO
21. Experience of working collaboratively in a team to deliver projects
