Liaise with the compliance manager on budgets - including necessary budget controls and financial regulations. Take ownership of all aspects of the maintenance service. Ensure all contracts and works are carried out in a safe manner. Deliver all works in a customer focused way. Take the lead on setting and enforcing standards of behaviour, compliance and health & safety. Support the compliance manager on policy, procedure, processes and systems. Work to plan and manage a rolling programme of condition surveys. Lead on systems, data, performance and policy issues. Develop clear, consistent and common component specifications across all work programmes. The ideal candidate: Problem solver. Experience of leading a responsive repairs service. Experience in planned investment, cyclical and reactive maintenance issues. Knowledge of different forms of building contract e.g., JCT. Health and safety regulations.
