Overview
On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Quality Lineside Engineer on an initial 12-month contract. As the Quality Lineside Engineer, you will contribute to investigations and root cause analysis into reported quality and quality technical issues from the business team and customer, to ensure appropriate containment and archiving, corrective and curative action is taken by the accountable function through multifunctional teams.

Details
* Pay: £31.90 per hour via Umbrella + Shift allowance
* Location: Broughton
* Contract: Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week, 12 months
* IR35 Status: Inside
* Security Clearance: BPSS
Responsibilities
* Inspect, attest and conduct surveillance to prevent FOD (foreign object debris).
* Manage nonconformities as appropriate.
* Be the go-to person on the shop floor for quality issues.
* Carry out improvement, prediction and coaching as appropriate.
Requirements
* Quality or engineering-based background (desirable) within a major manufacturing industry.
* Ability to interpret drawings.
* Ability to problem solve and use problem-solving tool sets (PPS, 5Y, Ishikawa, etc.).
* Good interpersonal skills — ability to challenge appropriately whilst maintaining strong relationships.
* Data analysis skills — interpret data sets, graphical data and draw conclusions.
* Work well as part of an integrated team alongside operational and cross-functional team members.
Other
* Double day shift pattern (alternating weeks): Week of mornings 6:00am – 1:10pm; Week of afternoons 1:30pm – 8:40pm.
