Project Engineering Manager (Rolling Stock)
Contract Dates - 01/08/2025 – 28/02/2026
Location - Derby 3 days per week and flexibility to travel to other locations in the Midlands.
Rate - Negotiable DOE
You will be working as part of a Freight ETCS project, helping to support the rollout of ETCS to the UK Freight Fleet on a number of UK locomotives. The project covers locomotives in different stages of the project lifecycle including design, first in class installation, fleet production and type testing.
It is Essential that you have in depth practical knowledge and experience of design and installation of train systems, typically ETCS, TPWS, AWS, GSM-R, Wi-Fi, CCTV and DAS and have a track record of delivering installation projects associated with modifications to rail vehicles.
