Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate pizza Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pizzq preparation and cooking, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety. You will be responsible for creating delicious meals that delight our guests while ensuring that the kitchen operates efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and menu specifications.
* Oversee meal preparation, ensuring quality and presentation meet our standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service periods.
* Assist in menu planning, including the selection of seasonal ingredients and innovative dishes.
* Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as necessary.
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting.
* Strong culinary skills with a solid understanding of food preparation techniques.
* Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in meal preparation.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes.
