Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer
Location: Based near Hull
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
This is the perfect opportunity to join a trusted, innovative Multidisciplinary Consultancy, renowned for their expertise across the landscape architecture, planning, and civil engineering landscapes. They are searching for a driven, experienced Senior Civil Engineer with extensive skills within infrastructure design, willing to take on a variety of challenging projects, based near the thriving, port city of Hull.

Responsibilities
* Contributing to the design of a number of exciting engineering projects
* Leading various aspects of projects, including resourcing, scheduling, etc.
* Mentoring colleagues within their respective roles, encouraging their Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
* Liaising with clients and stakeholders across the public and private sectors
* Preparing and checking technical reports, specifications, drawings, calculations, etc.
* Acting as a representative of the company at client meetings, site visits, etc.
Required Skills and Experience
* A Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil Engineering
* Possess Chartered Status, or actively working to attain this
* Demonstrable experience of working in a design-based role, within a UK consultancy setting
* Extensive experience of working with infrastructure (drainage and highways), housing developments, and energy-based projects
* Experience of earthworks and drainage network modelling
* Highly proficient in the use of various software packages, such as Civils 3D, InfoDrainage/MicroDrainage, AutoCAD, etc.
* Demonstrable experience of writing and checking reports, making the necessary amendments
* Experience of leading projects and/or people
* Considerable experience of working closely with clients and other stakeholders
* Outstanding organisation, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
Desirable Skills and Experience
* Previous experience of producing Flood Risk Assessments
* Some experience of preparing Transport Assessments
* Experience of working in a public-facing role
