Watch Designer
Salary: £36,000–£42,000

Location: Northwest London (2 days in office, 3 days remote)
The ideal candidate is a creative team player who can think strategically across different design areas and take ownership of the creation process from concept through to production. You should be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate closely with the Head of Design to define design briefs based on insights from previous collections and market performance.
* Conduct in-depth trend research to identify emerging materials, finishes, and consumer demands that will influence future collections.
* Translate concepts from initial sketches into CAD designs and fully specified, production-ready artwork, ensuring accuracy in dimensions, components, and finishes.
* Present ideas, concepts, and prototypes confidently to internal teams, clients, and brand partners.
* Oversee prototype development and liaise with overseas factories to ensure designs meet brand, quality, and production standards.
* Mentor and support junior designers, helping develop their skills and encouraging a collaborative team environment.
* Design product packaging, point-of-sale displays, literature, and instruction manuals while maintaining brand consistency.
* Work cross-functionally with marketing and merchandising teams to ensure designs are commercially viable and aligned with the brand DNA.
* Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and deadlines.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
* Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, with additional skills in Photoshop and InDesign.
* Experience in jewelry, watches, or accessory design is highly desirable.
* CAD proficiency (Adobe Illustrator preferred); knowledge of SolidWorks is advantageous.
* Strong ability to interpret trends and translate them into cohesive, market-ready collections.
* Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and a strong visual eye.
* Confident presenting ideas and collaborating with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and clients.
* Highly organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects within tight timelines.
