Overview
DUTY MANAGER – 37 hours per week; Up to £33,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
Formby Pool Trust is a busy independent charitable organisation delivering leisure services in partnership with Formby Land Trust and Sefton Council. Our swim school and gym are thriving, and we are seeking a motivated Duty Manager to join our team. As Duty Manager, you will report to the General Manager and be responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of the Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed professional who demonstrates strong customer service skills and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Working hours are based on a shift pattern, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends. The appointment is subject to satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check.
Responsibilities
* Be responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of the Centre and report to the General Manager.
* Demonstrate strong customer service skills and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Work on a shift pattern that includes weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Previous management experience is essential.
* Sound understanding and application of Health and Safety practices.
* Experience in the leisure industry (e.g., pool plant operation) is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided for the right candidate.
* Appointment is subject to satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check.
